1. Introduction

Our website, https://cenfil.nl (hereinafter: “the site”), uses cookies and other related technologies. (For convenience, all such technologies are referred to as “cookies” hereinafter.) Cookies are also placed by third parties we have engaged. In the document below, we provide information about the use of cookies on our site.

2. What are cookies?

A cookie is a simple, small file that is sent along with pages from this site and stored by your browser on the hard drive of your computer or other device. The information stored in it can be sent back to our servers or those of the relevant third parties during a subsequent visit.

3. What are scripts?

A script is a piece of program code used to ensure our site functions properly and to make it interactive. This code is executed on our server or on your device.

4. What is a web beacon?

A web beacon (also known as a pixel tag) is a small, invisible piece of text or an image on a website that is used to track traffic on the site. To do this, web beacons are used to store various pieces of information about you.

5. Cookies

5.1 Technical or functional cookies

Some cookies ensure that certain parts of the website function properly and that your preferences are retained. By placing functional cookies, we make your visit to our website easier. For example, you won’t have to repeatedly enter the same information when visiting our website, and the items in your shopping cart will remain there until you have completed your payment. We may place these cookies without your consent.

5.2 Statistics Cookies

Because statistics are collected anonymously, no consent is requested for the placement of statistics cookies.

5.3 Advertising Cookies

On this site, we use advertising cookies to gain insight into campaign results. We do this based on a profile we create based on your behavior on https://cenfil.nl. These cookies link you, as a site visitor, to a unique ID, but they do not profile your behavior or interests in order to display personalized ads.

5.4 Marketing/Tracking Cookies

Marketing/tracking cookies are cookies or any other form of local storage used to create user profiles for the purpose of displaying advertisements or tracking the user on this or other sites for similar marketing purposes.

Since these cookies are classified as tracking cookies, we therefore ask for your consent before placing them.

5.5 Social Media

On our site, we have included content from LinkedIn, Instagram, and WhatsApp to promote web pages (e.g., “Like,” “Pin”) or share them (e.g., “Tweet”) on social networks such as LinkedIn, Instagram, and WhatsApp. This content is embedded using code provided by LinkedIn, Instagram, and WhatsApp and sets cookies. This content may store and process certain information for personalized advertising.

Please review the privacy policies of these parties (which are subject to change from time to time) to find out how they handle the (personal) data they collect through these cookies. The information they collect is anonymized as much as possible. LinkedIn, Instagram, and WhatsApp are based in the United States.

6. Cookies Placed

7. Consent

When you visit our site for the first time, we display a pop-up explaining cookies. Once you click “Save Preferences,” you give us permission to use the categories of cookies and plug-ins that you selected in the pop-up and that are described in the Cookie Policy. You can disable cookies through your browser, but please note that our site may no longer function optimally if you do so.

7.1 Manage Your Cookie Consent

8. Enabling, Disabling, and Deleting Cookies

You can find more information about these options in the instructions in your browser’s Help section.

Please note: our site may not function properly if all cookies are disabled. If you do delete the cookies from your browser, they will be re-set upon your consent the next time you visit our site.

9. Your Rights Regarding Personal Data
