Can Cenfil process medical products?

Yes. The picking and inspection process is designed for accuracy, with separate locations and batch tracking. Please provide your requirements in advance.

Yes. When it comes to medical and healthcare products, accuracy is more important than speed alone: the right item, packaged undamaged, with accurate documentation. The picking and inspection process is designed with this in mind. You’ll review the specific requirements for your product line in advance, one by one.

Why the bar is set higher here

Healthcare products are often ordered by people who are counting on them right away. A wrong item or damaged packaging is more than just an inconvenience in such cases, and a return does not solve the problem for that customer. That is why processes are designed to minimize the potential for errors.

Unique locations

Items that look alike are assigned separate locations to minimize the chance of mix-ups during picking. Combined with a scan for each item, this means that if someone picks up the wrong item, it won’t go into the box.

Packaging that stays intact

The packaging method is tailored to the product. Items that are fragile or need to remain sealed are packaged accordingly. You define this for each product group so that the process is consistent for every order and doesn’t depend on who is packing that day.

Batch and Shelf Life

If your inventory includes lot numbers or expiration dates, these are recorded upon receipt and taken into account during picking. This ensures that items with the shortest shelf life are shipped first, and you can later trace which lot went into which order. That’s exactly what you need if there’s ever an issue with a lot.

Submit your requirements

Does your product range have specific requirements regarding storage, temperature, record-keeping, or returns processing? The Health and Youth Care Inspectorate is responsible for overseeing these matters. Please discuss them during the intake process. We’ll then go over each requirement to determine what can and cannot be accommodated, so you’ll know exactly where you stand from the start—rather than halfway through the process.

Returns require a separate appointment

When it comes to healthcare products, not everything that is returned is still saleable—even if it looks unused. Therefore, clearly define when an item may be returned to inventory and when it may not, and what happens to the rest.

Define storage conditions

If a product must be stored in a dry, dark place or within a specific temperature range, be sure to explicitly state this in the terms and conditions—not just on the packaging. Instructions printed on a box are read upon receipt; instructions that are formally documented apply to every subsequent handling.

You remain responsible

As the seller, you are responsible for handling all legal matters related to your products. The warehouse carries out what has been agreed upon and documents what has taken place. This division of roles should also be explicitly stated in the agreement.
