Het certificaat volgt de keten, niet alleen het product. Verkoop je biologisch en laat je dat opslaan bij een partij die niet gecertificeerd is, dan raakt dat jouw eigen status. Het is dus geen vinkje dat leuk staat op een website, maar een voorwaarde om je producten biologisch te mogen blijven noemen.

What this means in practice

Biologische artikelen worden herkenbaar opgeslagen en gescheiden gehouden van niet-biologische. De administratie moet aantoonbaar maken wat er is binnengekomen, wat er ligt en wat er is verstuurd. Dat is precies dezelfde registratie die je ook voor batches en houdbaarheid nodig hebt.

What you provide yourself

When delivering, please specify which items are organic, along with the batch number and expiration date. Make sure this information is also printed on the packaging or box so that it can be recorded upon receipt rather than having to be reconstructed later.

Logistics itself isn't changing

Inventory is managed centrally, orders are processed, and shipments are prepared for the selected carrier. The cutoff time, the carrier mix, and the access to your account are the same as for any other product line. What’s added is a focus on the requirements specific to the organic trade.
