What is specified in the agreement?

A fulfillment partnership is based on two documents: the agreement outlining the terms specific to you, and the general terms and conditions that apply in all cases. It’s worth reviewing them in advance, because when things go wrong, these documents determine how the situation will be handled.

• The services you purchase and the corresponding rate
• The rate tier you fall into and what is included in the rate
• The minimum purchase per period
• Agreements regarding packaging, special procedures, and returns processing
• The effective date and the notice period

What the Terms and Conditions Say

The terms and conditions govern the matters that are the same for every client: when a contract is formed, how invoices are issued, who is liable for what, what applies when transportation is handled by third-party carriers, and what happens at the end of the business relationship.

Please note the following points

Make sure to document any discrepancies

Anything you agree upon in a conversation that isn’t put in writing will no longer exist a year from now. Not because of a lack of willingness, but because people come and go and memories fade. If you want a special packaging method, a different returns process, or a fixed delivery schedule, put it in writing.

The submission instructions are included

Een deel van je kosten hangt af van hoe je aanlevert. Lever je aan volgens de instructies, met een scanbare barcode per artikel, dan worden er geen inslagkosten in rekening gebracht. Wijkt de aanlevering af, dan mogen de extra handelingen tegen het geldende tarief worden doorberekend. Dat staat in artikel 11.

When it takes effect

In de overeenkomst staat een ingangsdatum, en die is niet hetzelfde als de dag waarop je je eerste order verstuurt. Tussen tekenen en live gaan zit de inrichting: de koppeling, je voorraad inslaan en de testorder. Spreek af wat er in die periode geldt, zodat je niet betaalt voor een operatie die nog niet draait.
